Adirondack Cabinet ex Tiffany-family Hunting Lodge

Very special black painted primitive wood Adirondack cabinet circa early 1900s with snake and acorn carved motifs. Rich antique patina and some crazing, with some splattering and old cleaning marks on the surface. Old wood shelves inside, removable.

Sold out of an estate by the son of the cabinet's longtime owner, who said he worked at a Tiffany family hunting lodge in Upstate New York in his teens, and had been given the cabinet out of the lodge in thanks for his work there.
